Biography

I am an Associate Professor in the School of Intelligence and Computing at Tianjin University. I earned my Ph.D. from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2018 under the supervision of Professor Jianzhong Li, a renowned expert in database systems. From 2015 to 2017, I conducted research as a joint Ph.D. student at the University of Edinburgh, where I was mentored by Academician Wenfei Fan. My research interests include database systems and theory, big data processing, data governance, graph data mining, and multimodal data analysis. Currently, I focus on integrating logical rules with deep learning and large-scale models to tackle knowledge discovery challenges in multimodal data environments while enhancing the interpretability of AI-driven results. Additionally, I am engaged in developing large-scale models for biomanufacturing (synthetic biology).
